Health services
In the surgical treatment of cataracts, we use both the most common method – phacoemulsification, and an advanced approach based on the use of a femtosecond laser to form incisions and destroy the lens. The latest generation of laser equipment allows you to perform the operation as accurately and safely as possible, to achieve the best visual acuity. After cataract removal, we implant various models of «artificial lenses» — aspherical, multifocal, toric, and calculate them using a modern optical biometer.

In the specialized glaucoma Department of the Altai regional ophthalmological hospital, doctors with more than 30 years of experience in surgery for this disease work and use modern methods of surgical treatment of refractory forms of glaucoma – implantation of collagen drainage, implantation of ex-Press®mini-shunt, which allow to obtain stable long-term compensation of intraocular pressure.

In the vitreoretinal Department, operations for retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, and macular pathology are performed with minimal impact on the eye tissue, using a modern 3D imaging system and American – made ophthalmosurgical complexes.

All types of operations on the cornea-keratoplasty, implantation of rings, segments and disks are performed using a German-made femtosecond laser.
We perform all types of excimer laser correction-LASIK, Femto-LASIK. If surgical treatment is not possible, various models of contact lenses are selected – orthokeratological, hard, gas-permeable, soft.

The children’s ophthalmology Department provides high-tech care for strabismus, progressive myopia, amblyopia, and other congenital and acquired diseases. Our pediatric ophthalmologists have more than 30 years of experience in the surgical treatment of congenital cataracts with the implantation of various models of «artificial lenses». For congenital and secondary glaucoma in children, all currently available methods of laser and surgical treatment are used.

Within our walls is the only office in the Altai territory that provides the entire complex of orthopto-pleoptic treatment for children. Patients with binocular vision disorders of various origins, myopia and other eye diseases associated with reduced visual functions are treated.
The laser Cabinet is equipped with modern coagulators of green-Laserex (Australia), CarlZeiss (Germany) and infrared – Alod-01 (Russia) spectrum, allowing to carry out the optimal effect depending on the problem being solved.

The consulting and diagnostic Department of the Altai regional ophthalmological hospital uses traditional and modern methods for diagnosing diseases of the visual organ: visometry, autorefractokeratometry, non-contact pneumotonometry, kinetic perimetry, static computer perimetry, pachymetry, ultrasound biometry, ultrasound B-scanning, ultrasound biomicroscopy, electrophysiological studies, fluorescent angiography, optical coherence tomography.
